Color me Mary-Sue

Ok, dude, I have to point out that I have NEVER desired to write a Mary-Sue, because I'm frankly not interested in me. So there. :p

And yeah, I'm still fucking up.

No one who writes Mary-Sue in interested in themselves. They're interested in becoming PERFECT.

And yo, no trying to disprove my theory so early in the morning! ;)

Great post! You got the several first laughs of the morning :)

This is the best Rice review I've ever read. Ever. The last vampire book I glanced at was a caricature of the whole series and I just couldn't continue. There's only so much swooning a fella can take.

Dude. Can you see my head? It's swelling. But you're right--they do end up in thrall a whole lot.

Now, have you ever read the Chronicles?

I've read Interview, Lestat, Queen of the Damned and The Body Thief - assuming you mean the Vampire Chronicles...aren't the witch books also chronicles? If so, I've only read the first of those. Bleagh.

Ah. I've read through all of the V.Chronicles except for the last one. Just waiting for the paperback, you understand.

But I SO enjoyed Tale of the Body Thief. That's a whole lot of slashfic, right there.

I don't actually know what the Witch ones are called--maybe the Mayfair Chronicles. That rings a dim echo in the cavernous chamber that is my braincase.
