What?? It is globalization of noodles. All the grandmas buy that crap, because it is cheap and they have money for nothing else. :(

I'm generally fond of Korean noodles, myself. :)

There's loads of these shops in our food courts (not quite the same as Norteamericano ones) these days, selling China-style hand-made noodles (although they're sliced through a hand-cranked machine). Virtually all of them are staffed by PRC nationals, almost always coming from one of two places. One of Fuzhou. The other is Putian, where my family comes from. Sometimes my Dad gets extra condiments because he speaks our dialect to them.
