Okay, so Emma's biological father lives in Washington. I met Brian right before Emma's first birthday. He is the only father she has ever known. After we had been married for a while, Brian adopted Emma. Unfortunately, the Navy didn't forward the paperwork on to Indiana so her name would be changed. Emma just finished 2nd grade. Of course you will be doing the right thing. Before you say anything, surround Emma and yourself with all the love of the universe by just imagining it there, ask your higher self to help with the words you use and bless Emma's higher self, who already knows everything and is an amazing loving spirit, as you really are.

Our Julie was born 6 months after our wedding - full term - we were up front with her about it, no worries. She and the rest have a sister from John's first marriage, we were up front about it. no worries. In fact, altho they barely knew one another as children due to distance, now as adults they are friends, living nearby to Wil, babysitting for him, him for them...somehow things work out when you are open and honest with your kids.
