So I know Im not supposed to have a favourite school, but I do. Its just so much better than the other 5, its not just one thing but millions of little things. For example, the awesome that happened today...

• slept in 30 mins cos this school is the closest to my house and I can do so without even being late to the Friday morning meeting
• had a teacher

Can you read my mind or something?

I've been thinking that you haven't updated in ages (though, neither had I until recently...at least about life anyway) and wondering how everything is going. Now here you are writing 2 entries in one day. You are awesome, you know that.

You sound like you are having a great time with the kids. You descriptions made me laugh heaps, especially "the girl in the font row had a Kisumai clearfile which was awesome and pretty and slightly distracting for me, the girl next to her had Arashi!"
and
"3 or 4 of the kids grabbed my flash cards as I walked in and went through them to see how many they already knew, then realised the cards had Naruto on them and got distracted."

Oh, and YAY for curry :P

Lol, thats just the one school. I go there every 2nd friday and its the BEST end to a week ever!

Emma :) I totally love this. It brings a smile to my face to see how happy and amusing your teaching is, truth be told I'd probably have difficulty not running over and glomping those 1st, 2nd graders. And of course the food talk made me want to rush to the Jap place and ask for a bento. <3 missing you heaps!

Teaching is mostly happy and amusing and also tiring. (I drink sooo much coffee nowadays) There are fail days, or should I say fail classes. Though I feel in the 6 months Ive been here Ive managed to turn a couple around. The preppies are just unendingly cute, I dont teach them often though.

You mentioned curry and made me hungry, so I ordered it for lunch!
