It was like an ongoing party, in those days. Or at least that's what my nostalgia tells me.

No, you are right. My LJ friends turned into my RL friends, we really had a community back then. Nothing beats it.

miss you-- even tho we're connected here and on insta, it's a tenuous thread these days, isn't it? while i know we cannot go back, i do wish there was a way to be closer to folks from those good old days, but we're all scattered and not posting "the good stuff" as much. ah well, i remember that time fondly.

It was great, back in the day. I looked forward to LJ all day while I was at work. Chatting with my friends. But it wasn't like 'friends' today, which are so anonymous and random. You guys were my heart.

I find myself full of anxiety and dark clouds when I get on any of the social media platforms these days. I stay away from them.

That's why I never see you. I truly miss you, chica. "You can't go home again", but we can create a new way of being together online. Coffee time once a week when a group agrees to be on LJ at the same time, posting and commenting back and forth? lol Too much? <3
