Sounds pretty good---at least you've got a good vocal range, and can hit those notes without going into falsetto!

I'm pretty sure over time (and with less nervousness, but isn't that true for everyone?) you're going to get even better.

Thank you! Yeah I am quite proud of the tone quality actually!

But yeah, oh god I was so nervous, there are so many screw ups because of that. Goddamn haha. I practiced to like to a tee ans then I screwed up!! Aggghhh but it sounded better than I thought it would.

But at least the mistakes weren't *overly* horrendous. It's good that it sounded better than you expected----I think performers are their own worst critics.

You know, when I wrote my self critique though, I was actually pretty nice to myself. I was expecting so much work, and then comparing me, to the other beginners in the class (selfish I know) I was really proud.

And I just found out I got an A. She gave me four 5's and one 4 (in a scale of 1 being worst and 5 being best) and no vowel problems or diphthongs.

I got a better score than the music major and Jazz singer's (one of the best singers in the school, you have to be to be in Jazz Singers) grade.

STOKED.
