Awfully tiring week, so I'm glad it's about to end. I never knew I could cry so hard my head hurt, hahaha - and wind up missing school the next day because of that, whut. Has the term "crying hangover" ever been coined? Or I'm going to be creative right now and invent that term, heh. It's not altogether bad though - I felt a lot more emotionally ( Read more... )

That sleep project is so fascinating! Do let me know once you manage to find it :)

I went to Red Dot Fine Art Gallery at Tanjong Pagar Distripark today. I couldn't stop thinking about how you'd enjoy it there.

Sleep project? :O do you mean the anime-styled one?

OH OH I THINK I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. Is it the one with the huge "stained glass"-esque Damien Hirst artwork made of butterflies? I went there for a h3art lesson for a tour by the art dealer himself and I WAS BLOWN AWAY. You were right, I really really enjoyed myself there. * A *!

This one! "Some of the photography and animation works were really exciting - there was a photography series who captured his sleep patterns over a single night in a single photograph with his camera on long exposure setting. The effect was really surreal and somewhat ghostly. It would have been great if I could link some of the photos here, but I can't find them on the internet just yet. ; A ;"

I DIDN'T NOTICE IT WAS MADE UP OF BUTTERFLIES O: When I was there, it was a tribute to modern art with works by Andy Warhol and Ai Weiwei... I had to go there for a project, but I didn't get to spend much time so I'd really like to go back there again hehe.

Ohhh that one! I'm keeping an eye out for it too * A * if I find it I'll link it to you for sure! I have a feeling you'll like it too. 8'>

Oh, I saw works by those artists too! Were they in the same exhibition? (Did you see the giant meatball on a fork? XD) Ohh what project were you there for? It'd be great to go there again! We must definitely go for art exhibitions together at the end of the year when my schedule is less hectic (and hopefully yours will be, too!) hehe.
