Babies are pretty forgiving and durable about being held. Good job on the holding. I bet you did just fine.

I felt like you some years ago then all my friends started to pop out babies and I got used to it. Once you realise you're not breaking them when yo hold them, it's actually really nice to hold a baby :) Then, when they grow up, they call you "marraine" and jump on you each of the few times a year they see you, or they take you by the hand to go build a castle. :)
