Oh, bravo. So true, so true. I have one suggestion though...instead of shitting rocks out at them can we STAB THEM IN THE FACE WITH A BRICK?!?!?!

St. Anthony's. *sigh*

Though high school isn't exactly a breeding ground for compassion and epic romance, it's not a shallow pool of insensitive brats either. People really do love each other, or at least, they feel that they do.

There has to be a middle ground between old hags weeping at their late husband's funeral and a common high school girl bragging about her promiscuity. And there is, I believe it.

Its very funny how you broke down love into those several categories. And it is very true, especially in our school but yet it can be summed up better. Personally I tend to believe in that Love is nothing more than breeding preferences. Natural selection if you will. Qualities seen in other humans that we tend to like and would potentially like to pass on to our offspring. So we feel a connection to have these children and stick together in order to raise them. This really shouldn't be confused with sex like category B as you put. People like those in category B do those things for physcological reasons. The need for people to feel accepted even if it means whoring themselves to others. So really when you get down to it, when you say love you tend to mean natural selection. Its just that since we're human we tend to think that whatever we feel is unique when its really not. People, for example, feel that there has to be a reason for everything when there really doesn't have to be one. No one promised these things upon birth but ( ... )

First off, who is this? You have a very unique idea.

Second, with this post, are you saying that love does not exist and is just simply a delusion that we humans create for ourselves?
