hahaha, yeah, colin sent that to me last week. I don't know what I'm gonna do with that new journal, I feel like now that I've started it, I don't know how to really start it. I think I want to write something about "Johnny Got His Gun", which I finally read last week, maybe, I don't know.

knowing it was jays favorite book i was looking real hard for what it held that facscinated be, and knowing some of the plot in advance and waiting for it to unfold got in the way a little for me through the first nine chapters, but when i hit the thenth chapter the book fucking exploded for me. I marked eleven passages in one chapter, which is more than twice as many as most of my whole books. After that it just kept aflame, the angriest book I've ever read (and i could reasonably nickname this semester "the angry book club").

i suppose i should just write something like that, heh.
