You may perhaps, try to find a place within the dorms. It can be rowdy, but more controlled, I believe, and you likely wouldn't have to worry about your possessions quite so fervently.

Well...you might look into the Gotei lofts. They're a...mid-ranged branch of apartments...Might be in your budget.

Thanks, I'll check it out. It'll probably only work if I manage to get some financial aid for school. (However, since no one in my family has been filing taxes up until this year, that may not pan out...They tend to want tax records.)

Yeah, I think it was Mekei...or Mekai Hall. Something like that.

He might even know of some off-campus housing that allows smoking. Who knows, he tells me he's got a 'Buddy Christ' complex so either way, he'll find a way to help you.

Oh? Maybe I'll have to stop by there later. It's bad enough that I can't smoke at one of my jobs or in small classrooms. (I keep a low profile in lecture halls & sneak in the cigarettes.) If I'm out to drink and have a good time, I sure as hell have no intention of going without.

((ooc: damn, my arm hurts...typing is somewhat painful...and I still have a fever & a headache...shots should not have side effects.))

Heh, you're going through the same thing I went through in college, except they weren't exactly cracking down on indoor smoking then. Just be sure to carry an air freshner with you. Less chances of getting caught.
