...Last night brought up a few memories. Haku, as you're the only person who's made me mad enough to tell you about it in detail, I really wish you could remember so I'd have somebody to talk to. ...Would it surprise you to know that you remembered my birthday before I did? I just read this post with a look of confusion until I realized the date. Heh, I always thought the tradition was that the birthday boy was the one who went home drunk; I wasn’t aware things have changed to the point where he gets a girl drunk with the purpose of seducing her. I love the 21st century.

Maybe you should go into the market for higher-paying job. Shorter hours and higher pay would allow you to quit one or both of your current jobs. After all, you need your sleep and energy.

They're the best I can get, that I'm willing to do anyways, after being paid under the table for years. I've got next to nothing to put on a resume, because I'm not recorded as having worked anywhere. I told you before. Couldn't have things like tax records around to show that I was the head of the household since the age of 15. They'd've put my brother in a foster home. And without family tax records, I'm also not eligible for financial aid at school. The university's sucking up about half of my paychecks, and rent takes a decent amount too.

Ever consider applying for a private scholarship? It won't need to go through the government financial aid process at all, since it'd be through a private sponsor. I can help you get one, since I've had to help my residents who run the risk of dropping out for financial reasons. It probably wouldn't cover all of tuition, but it'd help out. Seriously, there's no need for a student to be working two jobs and taking up all of their free time. I'll help see to that.

I've actually got 3 jobs right now, since I'm working as needed at 7th Heaven too. And I've applied for a few scholarships, but I didn't get them. Probably because they were fairly well-known and got a lot of applicants. If you've got some suggestions, I guess I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I don't usually talk about things. Haku only knew because I completely lost my temper at something he said and yelled at him about it... Couple of guys there reminded me of someone. Not in a good way. The two you asked me about last night; I've been around people like that before, Kenpachi, you don't need to worry about me. I just didn't want them having anything to do with the more naive people there. And one of them was looking at you and Tifa when he came in, so I didn't want you two serving them either, even though I know you can take care of yourselves. I'm fine of course, it's just... I haven't been around anyone with an aura quite like that in over 3 years, and there are a lot of things, both good and bad, that I associated it with.
