I think we may have been celebrating seeing each other again, or the fact that her son and my brother haven't gotten themselves killed and are starting to exhibit signs of common sense; they're best friends, and at one point I was sure neither of them would live to 15... everything's still a little fuzzy.

I think I'm okay now... mostly... I haven't been that drunk since I was 18... Come to think of it, Atsuko was the one handing me alcohol then, too. Her son's Kazuma's best friend, so we would get together and curse the idiot boys' tendency to nearly get themselves killed on a regular basis... or we'd just beat up people who tried to keep us from getting to them and making sure they were alright... It had been too long since the last time I smashed a bottle over the head of a guy who really deserved it, I enjoyed the past couple weeks.

I've been taking care of things with my family, mostly. Doing some working, too. I haven't met your brother, but if he shows up at the Rock Band tournament tomorrow night, I wouldn't be against shaking his hand.
