If I were wrong about determining someone was a jerk more often, I might change my ways.

A few examples from our shared past:
Kit? Wanker. Larry? Douche. STWD? D, for sure.

Any of these people might have changed over time, maybe they're fine people these days. But perhaps they've gotten worse. With friends of friends, maybe the person wasn't so bad at first. Since your friend has adjusted over time, it's less obvious to them, but you see the person objectively when you first meet them and...

You're fine. Don't change yourself for that particular social more. Dislike someone all you like and if your friends don't like it, well you can always get new friends. YOU are in charge of your own destiny, not anyone else.

First, I love your honesty, so that's good. But, really, it's ok not to like someone based on their past experiences with you, regardless of whether or not they've changed. Not saying you have to go out of your way to be rude to them, but that doesn't mean you have to be friends with them, or even pretend to be nice to them.

Alas, it'll be a problem, and sometimes your friends just want everyone to get along, but, hey, that's life. You're not a bad guy. :)

I would never ask someone to change their opinion or get along with someone they dont like. There may be a moment of 'oh!' and I will ponder on it but sometimes people are douchey. Just how it is =)

Your dislike of certain dipshits does not make me uncomfortable. Cant expect everyone to get along all the time. <3
