I saw Eragon today. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting, I've been so busy focusing on schoolwork that I've no time to anticipate either this or Xmas really. Sad I know. Anyway, I didn't have high hopes exactly, but I was expecting something at least decent, after viewing good translations of Harry Potter, LOTR, Chronicles of Narnia... but alas

I actually agree with you on this one...Well not the worst movie I saw (since I abso-fucking-lutely love the blade...I want it) it was so much worse then the book...they left every good part out...like where eragon learns how to communicate with saphira...or when they pick her name...

and according to the book brom has a huuuuuge white beard...where the hell did that one go? did they all of the sudden get a new brand of razors??

It's quite the let-down, isn't it? But there's Golden Compass coming out this summer so maybe...

Done. Heh, I actually thought I already had. My bad. And yeah The Golden Compass, and its sequels, by Philip Pullman are really good. Highly recommend them.
