When I’m running during my daily jog I think about a lot of things; it’s always been an outlet for introspection, reflection, and admiration of my world. I take note of the shade of the sky, the early morning haze which hovers just above the damp grass, the stirring of life and nature around me, the current and climate of the wind. My mind wanders ( Read more... )

I suppose everybody leaves a legacy, good or bad. It's better not to try too hard and just live your life. If you make yourself a good life, then what remains in this world and in the people that knew you, is what you wanted to say by living your own life.

What a better legacy to pass away and make the people you love, to go out and live LIFE. That's something worth of a legacy.

So right there, Diego. The best any of us can really do is live, not merely exist, and that's something I think not enough people are doing these days.

I know I'm guilty for letting the stress get to me now again, but on the whole I try to view every moment I breathe as being a new one. Each passing day is so ripe with possibilities, and our time is too short to spend it worrying about death or any other inevitable triviality. Cheers! :-D

Exactly. If we worry too much we forget that we are alive and we let the small, nice details of life pass us by.

Aye Ioan, I've missed our conversations myself, and I'm sorry about that. I haven't been on-line as much lately, but I'll be sure to stalk you soon. ;-)

Your icon is rather handsome as well, if I may say so. I'm still waiting for my telephone mmmm's, you know, haha.

Aw, you gave me my own paragraph, Cillian! I had a lovely time with you and the rabbit ;-) And I'd absolutely enjoy having lunch again sometime in the future. Sorry you missed out on Batman, but as you and your family said, it may well have been for the best in the end :-)

You deserve far more than a single paragraph, love, I could have dedicated an entire post to our marvelous luncheon. Tho I wouldn't do that because I'm afraid of your boyfriend, haha!

I'm sure the rabbit (cheapskate, haha) will be very happy in your home, and he'll take good loving care of your little one during nap time.

Thanks, but I'm not too bent out of shape over it, admittedly. I'm still stunned that I was considered for the role to begin with, and that's enough for me. :-)

Oh, pish, don't be afraid of him. He works very hard at his evil act, but I know better. You have nothing to worry about :-)

It really was incredibly sweet of you to buy a gift for a complete stranger, you know. I can't wait to give the cheapskate rabbit to the baby ;-)

One thing I've come to learn is that there are roles we'll win, roles we'll lose, and it all works out in the end. I can't regret a single choice that I've made or has been made for me because I'm proud of everything I've done. Well, almost everything, haha. I think that ought to be the ultimate goal, really, to be able to look back on our work and be happy with it. I'm not sure that had anything to do with what you said, so I'll shut up now :D

That's very reassuring to hear, I don't think I would be fond of losing a limb for him to hang from his car keys. :-\

What better way to make a new friend than to give them a gift, ay? It provided me with an opportunity to meet you, after all. ;-)

I agree with you one hundred percent, I really try to view all aspects of my life that way. Fate will always move us forward in the right direction if we trust our instincts, and in the idea that things will unfailingly have a beneficial purpose for turning out the way they do.

Aye Damien, you're a good mate to me, and I'm glad you know that I deeply appreciate it. Thanks. :-)

Haha, I really didn't mean for this update to sound so grim. Would it help any to know I was whistling a cheerful tune when I typed it out?

I wouldn't have missed it for the world, that was a great time, and I'm very happy I could be a part of it.

Even the saddest of tunes sounds cheerful if whistled properly.

You must have a very talented mouth my friend.
