What can I really say about Halloween without repeating the things my guests have already mentioned, and that I can recall clearly before I breached my limit of steady and sober coherency, haha. My sincerest thanks to everyone who joined in the costumed celebration, quite an amazing night if I can say so myself. My band was out of tune and out of ( Read more... )

Cillian! You had a girl in your bedroom? What'd your parents say?! ;-) If I'm in any shape for socialising on New Year's, I'll be at your party, grumbly husband in tow this time, I promise.

I hope you never let go of her hand. Us girls like the handholding, you know.

Haha, the same thing they used to say when I've had a boy in my bedroom, 'whatever you're doing in there, quiet down!' ;-) I won't mind his grumbling, as long as it means I'm relatively safe from a scuffle, ha.

Aye, I have always enjoyed it myself. When fingers are curled together, warm palms radiating against one another, it's symbolic like. Locked hands give physical testimony of the emotional ties that link people. I always get a kick out of seeing an elderly couple strolling along somewhere holding hands. It gives me a signal of hope and comfort that love can outlast anything.

Oh, and I owe you one of these... ;-*

Ahh, but it's so much different when we're older. And when it's a girl ;-) I can't promise you that, unfortunately, but I'll do my best!

That's so sweet :-) I love seeing elderly couples too. It makes you wonder what tricks they know, that kept them together so long, and how you can get them to share the knowledge with you.

Well, you don't really, but I'd be silly to not accept that ;-*

Sorry to leave this review of 28 Days Later randomly in your journal. But I was looking at another Cillian Murphy journal and I wrote all this and felt it had gone to waste.. Because I think the person playing Cillian flaked out. But you seem to keep up. So I'm going to leave a review on what I thought of your movie ( ... )
