A list of my favourite lolita-related videos, movies and various documentaries revolving around lolita style and subculture.
Beware - Loads of videos ahead.
Part II.: Real life movies with lolitas and documentaries about the style.
Please, leave a comment if you find any of the videos not working. I'll try to fix the link as soon as possible. Thank you.
Of course, the list of videos available isn't complete - I've just listed out the videos that catched my eye.
No anime ahead - only the real life movies. There are TONS of anime/manga titles that involve at least one GothLoli character, so I believe it isn't so hard to find them, if you're interested.
SHORT LOLITA DOCUMENTARIES
A few nicely done documentaries on lolita fashion. There are lots of them, so I've included only those I really like - I'm not saying that the others were bad, but I just personally disliked their style - either their editing wasn't good or I didn't like the overall feel of the documentary.

A documentary named "Lolita in translation", covering the sweet and gothic lolita style, and also mentions the classical loli.

The editing isn't so good in this one, but I like the way how is the style descibed here. It follows a sweet loli Cecilia to a meetup, and short conversations with the other girls are also held. It's very "personal" video, and doesn't talk about the whole fashion style in general, rather it speaks about how the girls feel about lolita.

This video is simly a teaser for an upcoming 15 minutes long documentary named "LoliGirls". The movie should be done by the end of September 2009 - if you're interested, I suggest checking their
website.
REAL LIFE MOVIES INVOLVING LOLITA STYLE
I've decided to share two movies with you - It's Nana and, of course, Shimotsuma Monogatari, aka the Kamikaze Girls.

A movie adaption of the famous manga "Nana" by Ai Yazawa. The character Mai Tsuzuki (Misato Uehara) dresses in lolita clothing. Some clothes of Nana K. are also inspired by this style.

Shimotsuma Monogatari (Kamikaze Girls) is a cult movie among the lolita subculture - Mainly because Momoko, the main character, is a 100% lolita, and the movie is revolving about this little passion of her. Baby, the stars shine bright is also mentioned in the movie, as it's the only brand Momoko wears. Also, it's just really funny and pretty crazy, and it's definitely a "must-watch" film!
