freya86 All Paris can do, is wait.
She knows she shouldn't, but she doesn't care. She's never been one to hold to other people's conventions.
Just the sound of her voice talking about random things makes her feel weak in her presence. It's those blue eyes that always do it to her, that make Paris forget the world around her. Small, comforting touches make her heart beat faster and for a few seconds it feels right.
Paris knows that she’ll never have Rory. Whenever she gets close, something pushes her away from her. The other girl’s heart belongs to someone else, and it hurts.
Because Paris always gets what she wants. Except for the one person she wants more than anything else. The one who visits her every night in her dreams, touching her as a lover, not as a friend.
Being friends is not enough. But for now she's content to watch. Dream. Hope.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
Irritated, blue eyes staring at her. Paris no longer cares to answer. She’s running out of excuses to watch her. Watch her in class, in the halls, wherever possible.
She is still in shock about their encounter a few weeks ago. Paris didn't mean to let it slip out, it was all a big accident. Rory had run off by the time she realized what she had done.
Told her she loved her.
Another excuse followed. Another lie.
Maybe she will never have Rory, but they share a secret bond. Invisible for the dark haired beauty, but Paris knows it exists. She saw the disappointment in those blue eyes when she told her it was just a misunderstanding. Just for a second, but it’s enough for Paris to hope.
And all she can do, is wait.
