Dear Yuletide Author
Dear Yuletide Writer,
First of all, thank you! This is only my second year doing Yuletide and I'm back because it was such an awesome experience, and I'm excited and grateful about writing and receiving a story this year.
Secondly, I apologize for not including any details in my sign up form - I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by choice and decided that a few extra days to think things over would be a good idea.
Lastly, some general things: I like gen, het and slash - the characters I picked are there because I love all of them, whether they're 'together' or not.
Some of the things I like reading are: AU, intricate plots, hurt/comfort, romantic cliches, travel stories, adventure, mystery, happy endings
I don't like: downer endings, excessive introspection, anything more than mild kink, over-the-top OOC-ness
And, on to the requests...
#1. Defying Gravity
(Zoe, Maddux)
My main idea for this request was the tattoo...the first time I saw that little bucket I thought it was one of the most romantic things ever. So, my ideal story would be something about that, or something about the two of them after the show ends. Perhpas expanding on James Parriott's interview here:

#2. Person of Interest
(Harold Finch, John Reese)
So far I have only seen up to episode 7, but I am really loving the characterization on this show, and the way that they are learning about each other (or, how Reese is learning about Finch!) and working together. I don't have any specific requests for this one...I just like the idea that these two characters may be becoming friends, or maybe something else :)
#3. Covert Affairs
(Jai, Annie)
Here's the thing...I think these two could end up like Arthur and Joan - in a good way :)
Whenever Jai isn't involved in the adventure of the week I feel like there's something missing. I don't necessarily see them romantically right now but I think they could be good allies and have a great connection. Sorry, this one is a little vague as well!!
At the end of the day...if my ideas don't resonate with you, please feel free to ignore them :) I know I'll love whatever story I receive! Thanks again!
