I think it's pretty stupid that NKU, Xavier, Cincinnati State, and Cincinnati Public Schools were all closed today, but we (at UC) had to make our way through the snow to work at 10:00 this morning. I stood outside waiting for my bus for an hour, seeing two of them drive outbound, never to return. Finally, I gave up, and started heading home. I ( Read more... )

stupid UC...although i didn't get snow days because RCs are "essential personnel".

of course i never get snow days here-- we'd have to get 80 inches of snow before we'd close!

Oh I didn't even mention that! I was essential personnel too UNTIL this school year. Thank goodness for that at least!

There's plenty of snow out here (Jackson Hole WY). We're expecting over a foot of new snow here tonight and tomorrow. That fact that it's 0°F..., well, that's another story.

Would this be a bad time to mention that University of Kentucky an hour south of ya is closed today? (heh heh) And we never close.
