Deep freeze is now getting annoying

Ok, the snow is pretty and all, but because of the icy conditions we had to cancel our book group Christmas party. It's annoying enough because I was really looking forward to it, but it's also annoying because I have been making all kinds of goodies for the party including fudge, toffee, and cookies. Very annoying!

That would be a very important luncheon! Are you going to a restaurant downtown for the lunch?

It's unusual to get a deep freeze that hangs on so long. I remember maybe five times in 21 years. Once that pattern sets in, it's hard for the warmer marine air to get in there to scour it out. Well, at least it's sunny (when it's not snowing). Hang in there.
