Oxymorons of the Club Culture

I admit it. I've never been to a straight 21+ club. In fact, I've never been to a straight club in general, aside from that one trip down to Tijuana that we'll never speak of again.

haha, ALLY POWER!

We could try somewhere next week when I'm down, like Deco's or Ole Madrid? I don't know, they may just play R & B, but I'm down for straight clubbing. I'm a little tired of gay clubbing, and while I like the attention, it's tragic being straight as those things as the women never give me a second look =(.

Fun post, however =)

Hi! How are you? ...*snrk* amusing stories...and, uh, I dunno what a straight club is like, either...XD

I noticed you were watching the nsn_roundrobin group, and I was wondering if you wanted to get in on the action? We're currently doing a reboot, with open sign-ups...if you wanted to sign up for something, you're more than welcome! Betas are available (me, etsumilau, wolfpilot06, or a friend you know), so don't feel as though you'd be all by yourself. More information here. Or go to the Official Sign-up Thread.

I went to On Broadway once with a friend of mine, I'm told its known for amazing DJ's and patrons that are only there for the prestige of being at the location (it's a really nice building, built into the husk of an old bank, one of the music rooms is inside the old vault).

Anyway, good music, lots of dancing, lots and lots of booze. I was DD, and I don't really dance, even with a few pints in me, its feeble at best, so I just sat back and watched.

Got hit on by some 40-year-old women who liked my (still long at the time) hair, took my friends home. *shrug* I'd have almost rather stayed in and watched a movie or put on a dinner with friends..

That's funny... I had to move to LA to meet anyone worth partying with in SD... Just a thought, you might try going to some private type events (sort of underground, but not so much, if that makes any sense) pretty much everyone I know who throws events there plays techno (mainly house, but all good to dance to), and there are lots of straight (and I won't lie, gay men too) there... if you are interested I can give you some suggestions :)
