I've never tried either of these, but according to my alternative cures book, a teaspoon of bifidus powder dissolved in a glass full of water before going to bed is supposed to prevent hangover. 2 teaspoons of fresh lime juice and 1/4 teaspoon of sugar in 8 oz of water is supposed to help one once you've already got it, and there's probably some truth to that because my sister is forever drinking lemonade when she's hungover (which is a lot more often than it should be. >.>)

All I ever did was drink as much water as I could before falling asleep which helps but doesn't eliminate the problem.

Hi there! Sorry, this has nothing to do with your post. I wasn’t sure where else to post this.

I noticed that Tia Dalma is one of your interests and I just wanted to inform you of the Tia Dalma fan community I have set up. The basic gist of the community is that it’s a compilation of all things Tia-related(photos, screencaps, fanart, fanfics, etc). I’ve done a considerable amount of work on it thus far(there are 4 galleries; one for screencaps, miscellaneous pics, fanart, and the most recent comic gallery, AND 2 fanfics) but I’m still busy asking more people for permission to use their Tia-related fanart and fanfics in the community. It’s a work in progress.

Funny you ask... I drank quite a bit last night, but mixed it with lots and lots of water, and an aspirin before falling asleep.

Woke up and within the first half hour of being awake, the ill effects were gone.

Aspirin and alcohol can be very dangerous together. Almost certainly not in your case of just one night, but I just saw an opportunity for additional advice: mixing them is not a good idea.

I'm sorry I thought you were someone else, there is another person with a very similar username to yours, who was at a meetup today w/ some yours & my mutual friends, so I thought you were her.....
