Neither did we, initially, because the air above us was so clear. *facepalms* Winds are funny like that, apparently. Everything around us was covered in smoke or being evacuated, so that was sort of a wakeup call for us. Luckily, the fires stayed clear of my area by a good 10 miles and are now well on their way to containment if they haven't already simmered out thanks to the firefighters and weather.

Er ... in terms of university life, it's much less stressful than it has been in the past since I'm just finishing up my degree (two classes, one is circadian rhythms and the other is a latin dance class that I've already taken once, but I wanted to get some exercise in and to learn lead).
As for what I've been up to ... I got distracted and am apparently having that boyband phase that I never had throughout junior and high school. These boys have stolen my heart with their a ( ... )
