It was Sunday night when I woke up only to find myself being hugged by you, our legs tangled, fingers intertwined.
“Tomorrow’s the day.”
You snuggled close to me, burying your face to my neck, as you inhale all my scent. I came close to you even more, closing all kinds of space and gaps between us. I kissed and patted your head.
“Do you think we will be okay?” You looked at me..
.. With the devotion in your eyes, your love emanating from that one deep hazel orbs.
I cupped your cheeks and brought your face closer to mine as I kiss you, a faint smile showing on your beautiful face.
“As long as you’re with me, and me with you, as long as I am holding this hand of yours, everything will be fine, love.”

There were flowers that looked really beautiful and elegant all over the place, the chairs reserved for the guests have already been filled up in an instant. The atmosphere all over the place makes my heart flutter.. but nervous..
Yet, happy.
For finally on this day, we will be together with our hearts beating as one, our hands joined, our love for each other will be one. I can’t see to fathom what is happening right now: People being here to witness our love, our parents being with us today, smiles appearing on their lovely faces, and you..
You being on my side while clinging to my arm, your lips forming a curve as I take a glance on you.
It was the best feeling ever I couldn’t even come up with words. I love you so much and thank you for being with me.

The curtains have open, and there we see: our witnesses, which are our parents, friends, colleagues, and some other important people in our lives who witnessed our love since the beginning, their faces are in all smiles as we get to look at all of them. My heart began to beat so fast. This is really happening. It really is happening.
You seemed to be okay. Of course you are excited. I do, too. But I just can’t even get it straight that on this day forward, we will be together, you as my wife and I as your husband. I can’t get any happier, really.

I am a complete package of pessimism and you are a flash of optimism. It’s like, radiating from you. You showed me how wonderful life could be in just simple moments, simple captures and words that hold meanings. You erased the darkness surrounding me with your vivacity in just a snap, taking me in a surprise for I’ve concluded, probably the best decision in my life…

On the afternoon of that day, I was holding on to nothing
