I'm really liking this story. I really like the idea that John keeps thinking that he's wining in his battle to change Sherlock but it is actually Sherlock who wins. I was kind of expecting someone to catch John with the torn out the end. I'm glad he didn't get caught. :)

The image of them standing back-to-back in between bookshelves is very clear in my mind. I wish I had the skill to fanart it.

Poor John if he got caught! I imagine it'd be much like the spray paint scene. He needs to learn how not to get caught holding evidence to Sherlock's crimes. I'm glad you're enjoying this story. And I'm extremely complimented by what you said about the image of them standing back-to-back in between the bookshelves. Thank you very much!

I'm glad you enjoyed them! At some point soon, they start linking together a bit and creating an overarching story, which is why I chose to post them this way. Hopefully, that will translate across well. Thank you very much for reading and telling me what you thought!

Oh, excellent, excellent! Not only John finding a way to get his perspective across, but Sherlock actually listening, whether or not he agrees, and his humorous response is rather sweet, in a way, if you have the proper POV.

VERY much enjoying, eager for more.

With Sherlock, you must always have the proper POV, huh? LOL In many ways, I see the reason that he gets on so well with John is because John can read that humorous, rather sweet edge to some of Sherlock's words at times. I imagine Sherlock could say something in a room with John, Molly, Sally, and Lestrade and they'd all perceive a different meaning to it. John's would be closest to understanding though.

I'm very happy that you're enjoying this and are eager for more. Hopefully the next chapters will continue to work for you. Thank you for your lovely reply!

Love these all! Now I want to read how Sherlock simply must have that page, and what John makes him do to get access to it ;)

I kid you not. I spent at least a minute staring at your icon, trying to figure out what was written on that young man's arm and right when I was about to ask, I looked at your SN again and then realized. Of course, now, it looks clear as can be. Very nice icon! Your SN is added so well that I totally thought it was part of the original picture. Please don't tell my loved ones about that though. They keep nagging at me to wear my glasses. I don't want to give them further ammunition ( ... )

Might be smut. Might be a polite tea with the family. :-)

In retrospect, it'd probably be polite tea with the family. That'd really require a huge ace up John's sleeve to make happen. Smut would be much easier for John to talk Sherlock into without help. After all, it'd be a reward in itself. :D
