Barely! And I can't decide whether (a) I'm proud of myself or (b) I'm ashamed of myself. The truth of the matter is, though in these situations with a couple I can't see this not leading to sex (I mean really, if you aren't freaking out over it, you're figuring out the possibilities), I generally as a rule don't find body-swap smut that interesting/sexy. Too much pronoun/characterization confusion. Also, the sheer narcissism inherent is both really fascinating and off-putting. Plus, until the beginning of S6pB, I did see River perhaps being narcissistic enough to want to have sex with herself. Stick_poker wrote an excellent fic dealing with that. And obviously Amy was interested in herself and like mother, like daughter. Still, with the material of the second half of S6, I'm not as positive River would like looking at herself that much. And to some extent, the Doctor might have the same problem. They both are really full of themselves, but they also really hate themselves too. Hee! You would manage to somehow write bodyswap fic that manages to be in character, twice and, well, swapped, if that makes any sense. I wish it had continued but I understand that you don't usually write porny things (though I'm not sure why because the one time you did it was awesome) and the way you ended it was an adorable nod to the whole bodyswap/double similarity.

I'm so glad this ficathon and TWoRS has gotten you writing more Doctor/River fic. <3

I understand (and appreciate!) your disappointment that it didn't go porny. To some extent, I feel the same way. But I went a bit in-depth in my reply to Trialia why I didn't go that route in this piece. It actually wasn't an aversion to writing porn. It's more that I didn't want to be pulled into writing something that would no doubt become long (at least 3k words, I'd think) and angsty/dark. Because they'd essentially be fucking themselves and considering their psyches I see that degrading into hate!sex. Someday, I might write that. But I wanted this little piece to be fun and lighthearted.

Still, I'm really glad you appreciated what I did write here. And thank you for reading and leaving me feedback. I always really love getting reviews from you.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I've finished most of my TWoRS icons but I haven't posted them yet because I can't seem to find a way to icon the kiss as well as I'd like. :/ If I don't stumble upon something I like in the next few days I think I'll just post what I have so far and then keep working on other versions for a later post.

I thought you should know because you're, um, awesomely supportive. <3

Ooh! Cool :) Though, there's a part of me that says, "Post them now!" And you can always post whatever you come up with later, too. I would love to see what you have so far.
