Seriously, right?! The woman just wanted to pick up some milk and maybe graffiti a future ruin. Then he drops this bomb on her and she HAS to take him to orgies in the future. The integrity of time is at stake. She's such a dutiful time-traveler/wife. Bless.

I might write it someday. It seems to beg a title of, "Four Times River Song Tricks the Doctor Into An Orgy and One Time He Tricks Her". Or something like that. :D

This was hilarious, but you do realize that you're now going to get a million comments badgering for fic of those 4 orgies, don't you? ;)

Because - just - GUH. The thought of Eleven and River in a Roman orgy is kind of short-circuiting my brain. Oooh, especially the thought of Eleven getting a little jealous of other men (and women) touching River... Please write this? :D

You know what? You'd think I'd know better after all these years. I've been in one fandom or another, writing and reading fanfic, for about 12 years. But it still didn't occur to me that people would latch onto orgy like that. Maybe because this was a bit of a throw-away piece. I literally wrote the dialogue for this on the spot while in an IM conversation. Which I do a lot, writing up dialogue in IM as a gag. 95% of the time, I just forget about it. But this time, I thought it'd make a decent self-contained drabble, so I just filled it in and posted it. Didn't really put much thought in it. And then WHAM! Everyone wants the orgies. Makes perfect sense. I feel like a bit of an idiot for not seeing that coming.

And I told some people in comments above, I'm never-say-never when it comes to fanfic ideas. And I certainly have ideas for a 4+1 type story to accompany this. Might happen.
