that makes for a weepy Dixie. if i had the money and not a Lucy i would go buy a bunny if for no other reason to keep that poem from happening to at least one less bunny baby

Aw...thank you for saying that! That's a very good thought. I wish more people would buy them for that reason. John and I went to a tractor supply store because someone told us there were bunnies for sale there, and it turns out they were just there for Easter. That is one of my biggest pet peeves. At least sell them all year around to find them good homes. Selling them for Easter is just horrible. And when little kids get ahold of them they terrify them by picking them up and being rough with them. They don't like to be handled much and people traumatize them :(

i think it's terrible that people do that with animals. they are not objects.. they have a heart just like we do.
