A/N: This will be a series of very short shorts, postcards that Luke writes (but obviously never sends) to Reid as he searches for more information about Reid's life.

Dear Reid,
I bet you never expected Cleveland, and neither did I. But you know who's here, right? The second best neurosurgeon in the world. No wonder you guys broke up with all that ego flying around. How did I find him? Teachers notice more than they let on, you know.
The Cleveland Clinic's Neurosurgery center is pretty impressive (Memorial's will be better, I promise), and so is he. He was pretty upset when I told him about the accident. We went out for coffee. I had so many things I wanted to ask him about you, but in the end he said he didn't think he really knew you all that well. You two didn't spend a lot of time...talking. I sort of blurted out that he knew more than me because I never even slept with you, and then I had to leave because apparently I was kind of loud and everyone in Starbuck's was staring at me.
He called me later and left a message. It said, "The two of us weren't in love, Luke. But you obviously were. Hold on to that."
How do you end up with such amazing boyfriends? I'm kidding. I am obviously an idiot. I am so angry with myself. And with you. Why were you such a terrible driver? Why did you make such a stupid mistake?
