Cut tag problem? I noticed the new posting format change, but hadn't noticed cut tag issues... somehow not surprised though!

Yes, at least for me. When I click on a cut tag, it expands right on my FL, rather than taking me to the person's journal. And then you have to click "collapse," to collapse it.

I like going to the person's journal myself, though I can see why this way might be preferable to some. I just wish they'd:
a. tell you what the hell they're doing first, and
b. give you an option.

You can always just go to the person's journal by clicking on the title of the post.

Personally, I like the option to expand in-post. It's like the lj-spoiler tag, but you can collapse things again. (Also I suspect it works better with the mobile version of LJ; spoiler-cuts can't be viewed at all.)

That does make sense to me.

I know, it's really annoying. The LJ peeps thinks it's a great thing we will all love. :-/ If you right click the cut tag and choose "open in new tab" it'll open like it used to.

I like the new arrangement.... it used to get on my nerves going back and forth. So I guess it's just you please some and upset others!

I can see how some would like it - I just wish they'd give us a choice.

I don't like it either (because it doesn't open the entry).
I saw serveral people complain because it makes there layout wrong.
And messes up the HTML I've heard.

Complain about it. Maybe it helps - or not.

And, as always (it seems so at last), they broke something else when they make the change.
