Made it through 2008! What a thoroughly raucous year it was we just all experienced. Wow. Gotta hope this one is a better one for many more people on this planet. I've been feeling really down about so many things going on in my life (or not going on) and the life of others around me. Just a bugger of a year

I hardly ever do anything fun for New Years. This year wasn't any different. Erik had to work the next day. He had a glass of champagne with me after the kids went to bed and then he was asleep by 8:30...I stayed up and watched dick clark and finished off the bottle...Ah well!!
