I don't think I have ever heard that song!

For me, I think it's probably "Piano Man" by Billy Joel. It's one of the first songs I remember loving (my mom had a 2-cassette Billy Joel greatest hits album).

Why do I love it? Because it's beautiful at times, angsty at times, fun at times, and one of the greatest 'story' songs of all time.

I am pretty sure that if you heard it, you would know it. Maybe not. It's possible.

I love Piano Man. It is all of those things! It holds a nice memory for me, which I will share with you.
I hadn't been to a concert in a very long time, and a friend of mine said she was going to see Billy Joel and asked if I wanted to get a ticket. I wouldn't be sitting with them, but riding with. I was game and bought a ticket, nosebleed section.
After getting in my seat, I found that I was one among a rowdy group that was ::eyeroll:: drinking heavily. I enjoyed the show, ignoring the dudes next to me for the majority of the concert. The finale was "Piano Man." The dude next to me flung his arm around me, and swayed me with him as he and his friends sang along loudly. With all of this, and having scowled through most of the experience, I relaxed and gave into the moment. I am glad I did, it's something I won't seemingly forget.
=D
