I've had a difficult few weeks full of unexpected repairs that have left me feeling stressed, frustrated, annoyed, and generally like I'm on the wrong end of a karmic assault. I had a long entry here about the latest fiasco with my laptop, which I've deleted in favor of something relatively succinct:

By the by, Nick wanted me to tell you that if you don't do a lot of travelling with your laptop, the Acer is perfectly fine and will cost you a lot less money.

That is awesome!! How did you win the Flickr account? I want to win one too ;) (though in all honesty I use my gmail photo storage quite hard, and have yet to fill it, so really don't *need* Flickr, but I like the community aspects to it).

I got kind of a sick feeling in my gut when I spoke with A. when she was on her way to Circuit City... you aren't the only moron that hasn't backed up their life as they should, I felt like hearing that it had happened to you was a sign that I need to stop putting off my own external hard drive purchase, the loss of photos would be devastating.
