I *love* this entry! You wrote down exactly what I've been thinking for weeks and did it so well! People just love to criticize others because it makes them feel better, and Tebow being an openly religious figure is a very easy target. after all, you didn't hear much criticism about Tom Brady when he left his pregnant girlfriend and was pretty much an absentee father of his first son for a while. Go Broncos!

You are not alone. I like Tebow for many of the same reasons you said. And for those who are sick of hearing about him, blame the media. It's not like Tim Tebow is going out shouting "hey everyone! Look at me! Worship me! Convert to Christianity!" He is not. So what he prays. You know who else did? Kurt Warner, one of the greatest QB's in NFL history. And people hated him for that. Said he was flaunting it. People are just too crazy about anything involving religion. We have freedom of speech, and he is allowed to support his religion. Get over yourselves. /endrant

Even to me, it would be an entirely different story if he were actively trying to push it onto the rest of us. But he's not. He's just doing his own thing. It just so happens that EVERYBODY can see him doing it. I have to admire the guy for that. It certainly can't be easy to be that true to himself with all the hate getting spewed at him from every angle.
