I don't know if you know padiwack, and I don't know to what extent she's sought out support, but she has mentioned she was raised in the JW church and in any event I think you'd have stories to share.

I didn't realize you had grown up as a Jehovah's Witness; it takes a lot of courage to break free. Congratulations.

She's still on LJ but says she's been "working like a borrowed mule" at her job, and has been trying out "ello." I'm sure you can message her here, but she may not answer you right away.

Since I'm not getting IRB approval, I'll be limited in how much I can share. Personal stories are off limits but I can certain share the literature review and any analysis.
