Have you read the book? I've been hearing really good things about it, but until someone who's read the book gives me the ok, I'm really reluctant to go see it. I've seen enough books I love ravaged over the last few years, I don't think I could handle it if Hwood did it to a Gaiman film.
A lot of people are saying similar. Actually, the best description I've read thus far is: likens the movie Coraline to cookie dough she ravenously consumed but thereafter wished had been baked, just a little.
I haven't seen it yet although I ironically worked on interviews on premiere day for it. There has to be something wrong about that.
Yeah I noticed a lot of the reviews are saying similar things. And I do think that if you worked on it in any capacity, you should see it. ;-) (Course, there are films that I "worked on" in obscure capacities that I have not seen, nor do I have any desire... but in this case, I think you should.)
