Thanks Z. I cannot add anything to this post or the one below about the family cheered up my Robin in a restaurant after a funeral. In this case, my silence is respect for Robin, his family, friends and fans. -Xim

It's pretty shocking, I think everyone knew he was a troubled guy, but I thought he'd live to be 100 like Bob Hope or George Burns or something. :(

Dr. Drew actually said something that nails it "Depression WANTS you in a dark dark room ALONE.. don't let it get what it wants."

At least people are talking about this mental illness and addictions that has been shoved under rugs and hidden in closets for years..

I'm actually really shocked. I knew that he went to rehab last month, but I didn't know how badly he was struggling. I grew up watching his movies and even now the movies I enjoyed as a child are still as entertaining as ever. I'm not easily upset or saddened by a celebrity death, this was just unexpected. I'm so sad.

One of my friends just shared this post from reddit.

::tears:: Thanks for the Story.... I believe every word... I can picture that so easily.. cinematixyz August 12 2014, 03:41:26 UTC
They now think he didn't go for a "rehab check up" but for his depression and that's the fucking stigma... stars would rather say I'm an alcoholic that I am Bipolar or SEVERELY Depressed.

The ONLY BRIGHT SPOT is reporters and celebs are getting tweets and messages from people from all over the world saying that they were suicidal and going to take their life TODAY when the news hit... and it shocked them into calling someone for help.

IF his death saved one life today... He was such a sweet soul, I think that would make him very happy...

As an atheist, I follow a guy that goes by "JesusHChrist" on another S.N. Usually he points out the cruel hypocrisy of Christians and never "sacrilegious" humour like someone will tweet:Jesus is my co-pilot and he will tweet back:Don't blame that shit parking on me, dumbass!! That was just you being drunk and stupid ( ... )
