and thats why i've always kept up with and appreciated you as a musician. its not about who can play what or who has the biggest music library on their computer or whatever anybody wants to say, its about passion. its about having a genuine love for what you're doing, and as long as you have that, nothing else matters.
understand that music is first and foremost a personal endeavor, which it is if you're doing it for the right reasons, and for the true lovers of music, that is reason enough to listen.
i come back with that music encompasses so much more than these things. you and this person who commented were completely right that the love for what ur doing is all thats important. like i said, people cannot speak for such an abstract idea. because the expression of this thing we have inside our heads is completely indpeendent of its audience. It would come out even if no one heard it or saw it or felt it or read it, smelled, or tasted it. People that make "Art" like to see and hear how other people make "Art" because it inspires them. Usually in ways the expressor did not entirely intend. So whether or not an audience "gets it" is immaterial. The people that are going to "get it" are going to get what they want. Not what the expressor wants them to have
( ... )
