The place looks lovely, and can you get some Blu-tack or whatever the local equivalent is? Postcards, photos/pictures, posters, etc, all go great on blank white walls...

this is SUCH a cute apartment, omg! i totally feel you on the white walls / painting issue; repainting when you move out is a pain. i'd talk to your landlord about it, and if s/he says no, there are totally other things you can do. check out martha stewart online; she may be crazy but the woman knows how to decorate. XD
