Last Sunday Seoul Stitch'n Bitch held our second (Annual? this might have become a tradition, who knows?) Ugly Blanket Raffle!!  We were so excited to end this project (finally... oh, me and my crochet hook are tired) and send the blanket off to its new home.  And we raised a lot of money for a great cause.

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books; I've read it quite a few times, and I absolutely love the BBC production of it. (Mmm Colin Firth.) Today was Stella's last day in Pluto Class. Her dad does a lot of work in the Phillippines, so her family is moving there.  We knew she was leaving at the end of the year, but were all very surprised to hear that today was her last day at EWAS.

I love my kids.  I told them I was trying to learn more Korean, a new word every day, and so they decided that was a good excuse to teach me everything they could. So yesterday afternoon I had to keep scolding them into speaking English, because they would say something, and then repeat it in Korean for me to hear.  Clearly, I can't learn *that* ( Read more... )

I'm off to cook dinner, but I thought I would post a new phrase I learned so as to keep up with my Korean studying.  I am really going to try harder to work on my Korean - I plan to join a class after the New Year, but for the moment I am going to continue to study on my own.
