January Thaw

Most years this is a very welcome thought. January Thaw. A respite between winter storms - a chance to clear the sidewalks of ice - a breather. As I sit here I can hear the howl of the chainsaws as the fellas cut firewood. That is a more satisfying feeling as the years go by. Self sufficiency - good hard work does a body good. Our trusty dog
