it was a first try. yes, the parents paid for the pictures, but they are getting many pictures, the rest are really good pictures, this is just the one i went into the session wanting to get out of it for "me" and it didn't work out well.

The cloth material, is actually a little transparent, but it's folded, so maybe I need to cut it down so it's smaller. I may just get some different material, i'm going to be shopping for material in the next few days anyways, for a chair i'm recovering to use as a prop.

I took several shots of this, this one was the best, but not what I wanted. I'll post some of the other pictures when i get them edited, i have a backlog of pics to work on, alas a long weekend in front of the computer for me.

What if you try to put some kind of a basket with pillow in the material first, and then a baby on that pillow? (the basket will of course be hidden and only you will know that it is there). This way a baby will be more comfortable, and probably will stay asleep and it will be easier to achieve the position you want.
I am not in any way a professional and probably my thinking is naive, but it's just a thought - maybe you'll try it :) Good luck!
(Your photos in general are getting better, you are doing a good job! :)

I have lots of ideas for baby shoots, but they all require sleeping babies, something i haven't had. They show up and mom's are like "she sleeps all the time" and then the babies decide not to. LOL. I'llw ork on it, it will get better. Thanks so much for the input.
