I hate to say this and I'm going to seem like the biggest bitch but I work in an ER vet clinic. I am a receptionist and I get the fun job of telling people that we can't treat their animals if they don't have the funds. The best I can do is offer Citi Health Financial or CareCredit. I feel for your friend because I totally understand what it's like to lose your best friend and I hope she does get the funds to treat her cat
