I'm back from egypt! and very dissappointed at how few personal emails i came home to! and zero phone messages/text messages! you friends suck! except for those of you who actually missed me :)

Sorry I haven't e-mailed you really at all while you've been gone... but my suckiness can be blamed in part on law school. I haven't even talked to my own sister on her own adventure, so it's not that I don't love you.
I am of course still super jealous that you got to go to Egypt, and i desperately want to go... well, anywhere but here. Michigan in February is full of suck.
Anyway, chica, glad you weren't on the ferry- and I think the problem there was lack of lifeboats- and that you are back safe!
IN other news, scientists in Jakarta have sighted an extremely rare species of egg-laying mammal called an echidna, in an area where humans are so unknown that the wild echidnas let the scientists pick them up and study them. They also spotted the nearly extinct golden tree kangaroo.
none of that is particularly relevant, but I find it uplifting to know we haven't managed to spoil the whole earth yet.

I missed you! And just got your emails, because I have been mostly without internet! And I shall email you back tonight when Juliette is watching Project Runway and I'm pretending to pay attention!

PS--We had a great time, didn't we? I just forgot to get out of the guitar case ever....
