So in the past 5 months I have changed my diet to exclude first meat, then meat and shellfish, then sugar; I also went through about 4 months where I worked out for an hour or more every single day...AND I survived on a mediterranean diet (which is supposed to be the best for you of all diets) for about 8 months ( Read more... )

Well, it sounds like you should have substituted fat for muscle so no there may not be a weight difference. Things should fit better though....

But are you excluding meat and including more carbs?

I wasn't eating more carbs than i usually do; actually for a while i was eating less because i was living in the land of pita. I'm not sure whether my weight-weight has changed up or down - actually I think it's about the same, maybe slightly higher but i do have more arm muscle from swimming so i'll let that slide - , but I did so hope my pants would be slightly loser by now! especially since i cut out sugar, my favorite :(

The only thing i eat a lot more of now than i did before is fish. I think. I should start a food log.

Oh, and that diet thing. The trick is not to stress. Don't make the weight come off, let it come off. Adhere to the natural order of things and the world will do what it does regardless. And just chalk me up in the "she's hot already" camp.

For some reason I wasn't sure where you were or what you were up to lately.

oh yeah and as for dieting; i didn't think i was stressing, i was just trying to get a healthier lifestyle, but i sort of figured i'd get a sweet bonus of slimming back down a bit. I'd like my "natural order of things" to be about 10 lbs less than it currently is :-P
