While Sarah might not be impressed by this since she's a professional owl wrangler, I'm quite happy with the whole thing.  This morning, on the short walk from my car to my office, next to the Comm Arts building, I was startled to have a hawk fly at me from across the parking lot.  It decided to land a little less than 10 feet from where I was ( Read more... )

i love raptors :>

ive yet to see a real owl though- someday.

i loved the redtailed hawks that hung out in the wetlands i worked in this summer but oh my goodness did the little birds terrorize them. meanies. i didn't get to see as many bald eagles this past fall as i usually do though. :/

I really like birds-of-prey. They're quite fantastic. Working in the wetland must have been cool (but perhaps buggy).
