California or Bust!
I have to say that traveling non-stop (well, except for fill-ups - both the car and ourselves, and restroom breaks) out to California with my mom and three of her siblings is not the most enjoyable 37 hours I've ever spent. I'm really looking forward to going back. :) I like the nice temperatures here, but the lack of real trees is very sad.

My aunt and uncle thought the Joshua trees were cacti. :D But I managed to convince them that they aren't. I thought they were yucca or palms. It turns out they are in the agave family (Agavaceae) - Yucca brevifolia. So I was right. :D I love wikipedia.
