I'm afraid my "thesis project" might be crashing down around my head.  I'm feeling a bit numb and nauseous.  My collaborator in Forestry returned home to Korea months ago and no one told me.  No wonder he never replied to my emails.  I'd like to blame someone but I'm afraid it's my fault for not figuring this out sooner.  We'll see if I actually

How can your collaborator leave without letting you know?!

I wouldn't blame yourself. It's not like you can expect someone to assume that the person isn't responding to your e-mails because they left the country.

Thanks! :) After making contact with the people in that lab, I'm feeling a bit better. At least some of the trees are growing in the greenhouse because I've seen a picture! Yay! And I'm meeting with the new guy today at 1pm. So I'll be able to update my advisor on what's going on when I meet with him next week.
